Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif appeared before the Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Saturday.
Earlier today, the chief minister arrived at the Federal Judicial Academy at approximately 11am accompanied by his son Hamza Shehbaz, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Strict security arrangements have been put in place around the judicial academy which is the secretariat of the JIT.
The area has been sealed off and the party workers have been informed not to gather at the JIT secretariat.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has already recorded his statement before the JIT while his sons Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz, have also appeared before the JIT in connection with the investigation.
