The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust has issued an official statement confirming that the majority of its bank accounts remain fully operational despite social media reports suggesting widespread closures. The charitable organization reassured donors that patient care and medicine supplies continue without interruption.

In response to circulating social media discussions about potential account closures affecting patient services, the trust clarified that “the vast majority of our bank accounts are fully operational.” The organization confirmed it continues receiving donations without disruption across most of its financial channels.

A limited number of accounts have experienced restrictions, but the trust emphasized it is working to resolve these issues promptly. “We expect that these restrictions will be removed soon,” the official statement noted.

The trust specifically addressed concerns about how account restrictions might affect cancer patients depending on their services. Officials confirmed they are taking all necessary measures to ensure uninterrupted medicine supplies and treatment continuity at their healthcare facilities.

The organization remains focused on maintaining its charitable healthcare mission while resolving the limited banking challenges through appropriate financial channels.
