Police have successfully identified Shahzain Mari, a resident of Balochistan, as the primary suspect in a violent assault incident that occurred in Karachi’s Boat Basin area.
According to police reports, Mari, along with his security guards, is accused of physically assaulting a local citizen.
During their investigation, police apprehended four of Mari’s security guards and confiscated four Kalashnikov rifles from their possession, indicating the presence of heavy weaponry during the assault. However, Shahzain Mari has reportedly escaped to Quetta, eluding immediate capture.
In response to the incident, the South Zone Police launched intensive overnight raids in the Defense area of Karachi, aiming to locate and arrest the fugitive. A formal case has since been registered at the Boat Basin police station based on the victim’s complaint, which detailed the events of the assault.

The suspects then exited their vehicle, weapons drawn, and proceeded to attack the occupants of the other car.
