Hina Pervez Butt of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ignited a debate and became the center of the troll on Twitter after sharing a photo of herself in front of a laptop with the caption, ” Alhamdulillah passed the GRE test, now student life is going to start again. MPhil in Education”
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Shahbaz Gill retorted Hina on Twitter and called her a liar.
Shahbaz Gil said in an Urdu written Tweet, “GRE test cannot be given sitting at home. There are special centers for this in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi. GRE test can be given on the same computer at the center by taking your passport and ID. Only modeling can be done on your laptop. Kamali Khatun, ask someone before you tell a lie.”
Gill didn’t stop here and took the trolling to the next level when Gill corrected Hina Butt that the GRE does not result in a pass or fail; rather, a percentage is awarded.
Interestingly, Hina claimed she had passed the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) and would begin her MPhil in Education to resume her student life.
Netizens who have appeared in the GRE Test (Pakistan) know that the GRE test can’t be conducted remotely from home or any other place in Pakistan also jumped into the discussion.
A Twitter user Dr. Ayoub Chaudhary came to rescue Hina and shared a screenshot from the ETS, and the test can be taken remotely, i.e., home under remote web came supervision.
