At the star-studded launch event in Mumbai for Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, “The Bastards of Bollywood,” Shah Rukh Khan, alongside his wife Gauri and daughter Suhana, captivated attendees.
The Netflix event debuted a captivating teaser for the show, produced by Gauri Khan and co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, who also contributed to the writing.
The teaser featured a light-hearted moment where Shah Rukh, dressed sharply in black, struggled with multiple takes of a single line directed by Aryan behind the camera. The playful exchange concluded with Shah Rukh exasperatedly asking, “Does your father own this business?” Aryan cheekily responded, “Yes.”
Shah Rukh’s presence ensured a mix of humour and charisma, as he joked about being taken for granted by his family in showbiz, saying, “I am ghar ki murgi dal barabar for Gauri and Aryan.” He also fondly recalled how household names like Aditya Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, and Karan Johar, regularly seen at their home, shaped the ambitions of Aryan and Suhana, who grew up questioning if everyone worked in television.
