Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader, Shah Mehmood Qureshi Wednesday wondered as to, “what guarantees Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari is seeking from Washington.”
He said this in reaction to a statement of PPP leader Shehla Raza in which, according to a section of media, she went on record to say that it had been agreed as part of National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) that no martial law would be imposed in the country till three elections.
She was also reported to say that Asif Ali Zardari had gone to Washington to seek guarantees in regard to what was agreed as part of NRO.
Asif Ali Zardari is presently in Washington where he is holding meetings with key US politicians including US vice president Joe Biden.
