Sevilla defeated Valencia FC 2-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semifinal at Pizjuan Stadium in Seville.
The home side took the lead in the 33rd minute as Stephane Mbia scored the first goal of the match. The second goal was scored by Carlos Bacca in the 36th minute for Sevilla.
Sevilla dominated the match throughout the ninety minutes of the match.
