Sessions Court Lahore has ordered registration of case under murder charges against 21 persons including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Punjab Sharif in Model Town firing case.
The court also ordered that a compliance report should be presented to it after registration of the case against the accused.
At least 14 Pakistan Awami Tehreek workers were killed and more than 100 were injured in the June 17 incident at Minhajul Quran Secretariat in Model Town of Lahore.
A petition was filed in the court on behalf of PAT in which the court war requested to issue orders for registration of murder case against the Sharif brothers and other responsible persons.
