Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday appointed Senator Rafiq Rajwana as the Governor Punjab after the seat was vacated by Chaudhry Sarwar earlier this year.
Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with Rafiq Rajwana at Prime Minister House after which the appointment was made public.
Prime Minister praised the efforts of Senator Rajwana for Pakistan Muslim League (N).
Rafiq Rajwana belongs to South Punjab and is a senator on the ticket of PML-N. He is also a famous lawyer.
