The Balochistan provincial government has enforced Section 144 throughout the province for 15 days due to concerns over law and order. The Home Department has confirmed this restriction will limit gatherings of five or more people, including protests, rallies, and public meetings, to mitigate potential unrest amid ongoing security challenges.

Additionally, the new order prohibits the public display of weapons. This measure aims to maintain peace and prevent disturbances during this sensitive period. Authorities urge the public to adhere to these measures to help maintain order over the next 15 days.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has also implemented Section 144 across its province, banning all public gatherings for three days. The Punjab Home Department released a notification detailing the prohibition of protests, rallies, processions, and sit-ins from November 23 to November 25.

Enforcing Section 144 in Punjab followed recommendations from the Cabinet Committee for Law and Order, which aimed to ensure peace, protect lives, and safeguard property.
