Karachi, Sindh: South Investigation Police have sought permission to send a five-member team to Balochistan to arrest Seaview hit-and-run suspect Nauman Ali Hikmat, police officials said.
Police said the May 14 crash near Seaview killed 36-year-old Salman and injured two others. A speeding double-cabin vehicle allegedly hit a car before the suspect fled the scene.
Officials said the request was sent to the Inspector General of Sindh Police after investigators found that the suspect had allegedly escaped to Balochistan.

Sources said the proposed team includes the case investigation officer, a sub-inspector, an assistant sub-inspector and two constables.

Police said the suspect initially sought help from friends after leaving the accident site. Investigators said he allegedly hid the damaged vehicle and later went to a friend’s house in Defence Phase 7. Investigations into the fatal crash remain underway.
