Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) adjourned the hearing of a plea seeking steps to stop any extra-constitutional act.
The apex court was informed about the clashes between Police and activists of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf along with the storming of protestors on Pakistan Television (PTV) building today.
Attorney General informed the bench that PTI had assured the government that they will not carry out any unlawful act in the Red Zone area of the federal capital.
He pleaded to the court to issue orders for stopping the protesters from the siege of the government buildings in Islamabad.
Chief Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk remarked that the court could not issue such orders as it is the duty of the government.
