Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow, Scotland, is offering scholarships to international students for Master’s courses beginning in January 2025.

The scholarships, ranging between £9,000 and £12,000, are available based on the tuition fees and the student’s field of study. The school has announced 35 merit-based scholarships. To ensure fairness, students should submit only one application.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Candidates must be self-financed and not receive other scholarships or sponsorships.
  2. Applicants must hold an offer for an MSc program commencing in January 2025.
  3. Candidates must qualify as international students in terms of tuition fees.
  4. The scholarship does not apply to online or blended learning programs.
  5. The university awards only one scholarship per student per academic year.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis starting in August 2024, with a final submission deadline of December 4, 2024. Scholarship decisions are final and binding.

Eligible study areas include accounting and finance, economics, entrepreneurship, human resource management, marketing, business, hospitality and tourism, management, management science, and data analytics.

Application Requirements:
Applicants must submit a 1,000-word statement detailing their academic achievements, relevant professional or extracurricular experiences, and career goals.

Scholarship Responsibilities:
Recipients are expected to engage actively in various activities, which include:

  • Participating in applicant forums to assist future students.
  • Taking an active role in the social committee or as a class representative.
  • Volunteering as an admissions contact for prospective students.
  • Assisting in the development and management of school events.
  • Maintaining communication with the alumni network post-graduation.

The scholarships from Strathclyde’s commitment to attracting talented international students and providing them with a supportive academic environment.
