The internet is abuzz with admiration for a Saudi prince who has taken on the unexpected role of a chef in his newly launched restaurant.

More than just donning a chef’s apron for aesthetics, Prince Nayef bin Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz is genuinely involved, serving patrons and preparing iconic Saudi cuisine.

Fully kitted in his culinary attire, Prince Nayef is delighting customers with traditional treats like mandi, jareesh, and kabsa at his Makarem Najd eatery in Jeddah.

Beyond the culinary delights, Prince Nayef is personally ensuring and elucidating the food safety protocols of his establishment to diners.

Confronted with queries about his unconventional choice, Prince Nayef’s humble retort was, “When youngsters ask, ‘Why this profession?’ I say it’s my duty. Every job has its dignity; none is beneath anyone.”

This unique initiative by the prince has garnered widespread appreciation online. Netizens commend his push for self-reliance and his commitment to his craft.

Emulating the legacy of his father, Prince Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz, renowned for his charitable deeds, Prince Nayef has made an impression. One of his father’s notable achievements includes the development of a rescue chopper equipped with firefighting mechanisms, for which he was notably honoured.
