Renowned Pakistani actress, Sajal Ali, will be honoured with the “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” by President Arif Alvi on Pakistan Day, March 23, 2024. The award, one of the 694 Civil Awards announced by the president on August 14, acknowledges Ali’s exceptional contributions to acting for over a decade.
Ali’s captivating talent has not only garnered acclaim in Pakistan but has also been recognized internationally. Notable performances include her roles in movies like “Mom” with Sri Devi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the Hollywood feature “What’s Love Got to Do With It” produced by Jemina Khan and directed by Shekhar Kapoor. Throughout her 14-year career, she has delivered outstanding performances in dramas including “Nanhi,” “Yaqeen ka Safar,” “Aangan,” and “Alif,” among many others.
Debuting in 2009, Ali’s repertoire boasts over 40 dramas, 14 telefilms, and 4 movies, solidifying her status as a prominent figure in global cinema and drama.
