Emirati researcher Saeed Musbah Al Ketbi captured attention at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage on September 23, 2025, with an extraordinary revelation he has four wives and more than 100 children. According to Gulf News, Ketbi’s main goal is to raise his family in line with Al San’a, the UAE’s code of values.

Ketbi explained his focus on building a foundation of respect and tradition. “I make sure they learn respect, responsibility, and our ancestors’ customs,” he said. Al San’a encourages honouring elders, generosity, humility, honesty, and loyalty to family and nation.

A video of Ketbi’s speech quickly went viral, amassing over 70,000 views and sparking praise for his dedication to health and UAE heritage. Many social media users offered well-wishes, applauding his family’s commitment to cultural values.

What Is Al San’a?

Al San’a refers to a set of principles passed through generations in Emirati culture. It sets standards for respect towards women and elders, traditional greetings, Emirati attire, and the Arabic language. These values help strengthen both the community’s bonds and the nation’s pride.

Ketbi’s large family and his commitment to tradition highlight the resilience of the UAE’s cultural values in modern society. His story inspires others to value heritage and underscores how tradition can thrive alongside progress.

Saeed Al Ketbi’s family, comprising over 100 children, stands as a living example of Al San’a. His viral moment in Sharjah has sparked admiration for his efforts to preserve local values.
