Pakistani actress and content creator Romaisa Khan denied involvement in viral fight rumours after a video from a Karachi cafe circulated on social media.
The clip claimed Khan and another woman were involved in a physical dispute inside the cafe. Khan addressed the claims in a video message on her social media account.
She said she woke up to headlines claiming she had fought with some girls and had been beaten up.
The “Jinki Ki Shadi Unki Shadi” actress called the claims fake news. Khan said the person in the circulating clip was not her.
She said people often connect her name to her because “Romaisa” immediately makes many users think of her.
Khan also criticised social media pages for using her photo with the viral story to attract views. She said many pages deleted posts after she commented, clarifying that she had no link to the incident.

Khan asked people spreading the rumours to stop associating her name with fabricated stories. “Stop ruining my name,” she said in the video.
Fans and celebrities later responded to her post with humorous comments.
