One person killed and three injured on Sunday morning after a vehicle was fired upon at the Sea View Road following a road accident.
According to initial reports, four people were on their way from Do Darya in DHA Phase 8 in a Mercedes Benz when a heavy bike hit the vehicle from behind and sped away. A moments later, the car was stopped by a double-cabin vehicle, which was escorting the injured biker, and was fired upon by people from inside the pickup.
After firing at the car, the attackers escaped from he scene.
Police immediately launched a search, while a forensic team collected evidence from the site.
SSP South while talking to local news channel ‘Geo News’ claimed that four suspects have been arrested from Khalid Bin Waleed Road while the pick-up has also been seized.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah had taken notice of the incident and also sought a report from the additional inspector general of police.
