Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has requested his mobile phone’s return and written inquiry details in a second letter to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
The letter and disclosed its contents on Tuesday. Rizwan said the agency had neither provided written details of the inquiry nor contacted him about further proceedings.
He asked officials to explain the reasons for the inquiry in writing and specify when he must appear again. Future correspondence should reach his residential address through official channels, he requested.
Rizwan denied withholding his phone’s password at any stage.

According to his account, officials took the device in England on August 31. He supplied the password, allowing them to examine it in his presence.
During his September 10 appearance before the NCCIA, officials again accessed the unlocked phone and reviewed messages and other material.
Rizwan said officials had initially promised to return the device within three hours of taking it. He later received assurances that its digital forensic examination would finish soon. His letter requested its return without further delay.
