Realme has officially confirmed the launch of the Realme 16 Pro series, which includes the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+. The smartphones will debut in India on January 6, 2026, at 12pm IST. Both devices will be available shortly after launch through Flipkart and the official Realme India online store.
Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed key hardware details of the standard Realme 16 Pro, highlighting major upgrades in performance, battery life and display quality.
The Realme 16 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max processor. According to Realme, the chipset delivers an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 970,000 points. To maintain stable performance during extended use, the phone includes an AirFlow vapour chamber cooling system.

The device will run Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16, offering the latest software features and optimisations.
Realme 16 Pro Specifications
Realme has equipped the 16 Pro with a 7,000mAh Titan battery, supported by an AI Long-Life Battery Chip, Super Power Saving Mode, and Bypass Charging to improve battery health during gaming or heavy use.
On the front, the smartphone features a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel offers peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits and supports 1.07 billion colours, positioning it among the brightest and smoothest displays in its segment.

Both the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ come with a 200MP LumaColor Image-tuned primary rear camera. The higher-end Pro+ model adds a 50MP periscope telephoto lens for enhanced zoom photography. While selfie camera details remain undisclosed, the series supports 4K video recording at 60fps from the front camera.
The Realme 16 Pro series introduces a new “Urban Wild” design language, developed in collaboration with renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The phones use bio-based organic silicone materials for a premium, skin-friendly finish.
Colour options include Master Gold and Master Grey, along with India-exclusive shades Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple.
With a focus on long battery life, high-end photography and refined design, the Realme 16 Pro series aims to strengthen the brand’s position in the premium mid-range smartphone segment.
