Ras Al Khaimah, the sixth-largest city in the United Arab Emirates, has unveiled a new island development, “Raha Island,” in Mina Al Arab.
As reported by Gulf News, this project spearheaded by RAK Properties is part of an ongoing expansion in the real estate sector. The development is set to include high-end accommodations, retail spaces, marinas, beach clubs, and additional leisure facilities.
Sameh Al Muhtadi, CEO of RAK Properties, expressed optimism about the high demand for well-crafted luxury developments at Raha Island. “Our goal is not only to meet this demand but to surpass expectations by enhancing this sought-after destination,” stated Al Muhtadi.
The emirate has launched several luxury-focused projects over the past year, including the notable Wynn development on Al Marjan Island, which is anticipated to be completed within the next three years.
Furthermore, Gulf News noted that Raha Island would feature over 2.5 kilometres of publicly accessible beaches. The newly constructed marinas on the island are expected to become prime spots for water sports and activities or simply for relaxing days spent by the water.
Additionally, the project includes plans to enhance connectivity with other Emirates through a new water transit system across Mina Al Arab.
