Three gangsters were killed in an exchange of fire with the paramilitary Rangers in Karachi’s troubled Lyari area late yesterday night.
According to the Ranger spokesman, the exchange of fire with accused took place in Kumhar Wara area of Lyari. In the shootout, three gangsters were killed.
The spokesman said the accused killed in the shootout were identified as Gul Nawaz alias Pera, Bilawal alias Mendo and Naeem.
The terrorists, killed in the encounter, belonged to the Uzair Baloch and Sheeraz Comrade groups of Lyari gangs and were involved in hand grenade attacks and other heinous crimes.
