Singapore: Rainforest Wild Adventure will soft-open its second phase from May 20, adding a new East zone with canopy activities, forest treks and wildlife encounters, Mandai Wildlife Group said.

The operators have renamed the former Rainforest Wild Asia and Africa as one park with two zones: Rainforest Wild Adventure West and the new Rainforest Wild Adventure East.

The park will operate daily from 9 am to 6 pm, with last admission at 5 pm. Tickets will include access to both zones, and free shuttle services will connect visitors between the areas.

According to Mandai Wildlife Group, Rainforest Wild Adventure East spans about seven hectares and draws inspiration from Afro-tropical and Madagascan environments.

The new zone includes the Canopy Glider, Ravine Swing, Split Rock Summit and Treetop Traverse, a 125-metre harnessed canopy course. The Primate Climb will offer views of Diana monkeys in their habitats.

Visitors may also encounter species including pygmy hippos, eastern bongos, red river hogs, Nile lechwe, lemurs, turacos and ibises. Mandai Wildlife Group said it plans to introduce more animals over time through managed breeding programmes.

During the soft launch, ticket holders will have access to selected Adventure+ activities, with up to 9 on weekdays and up to 5 on weekends. “Visitors can purchase additional activities separately.”

Mandai Wildlife Group has partnered with The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia to launch National Geographic-themed pop-ups at retail outlets in both zones.

“Tickets for Singapore residents start from S$50 for adults, S$35 for children and students, and S$25 for people aged 60 and above, according to the group.”
