The Punjab Green Tractors deadline extended update gives selected farmers more time to complete the next steps under the Chief Minister Punjab Green Tractors Programme Phase-III. According to the Agriculture Department, successful applicants can now collect their allotment letters and deposit their share of the payment until 31 March 2026.

The department said the extension applies to farmers who were declared successful under the programme. These farmers have been directed to complete both requirements before the revised deadline.

According to the department spokesperson, selected farmers must collect their allotment letters and submit the required amount within the given period. The revised date gives them additional time to secure their place in the scheme.

However, the department also made it clear that the deadline matters. If a selected farmer does not deposit the payment within the stipulated period, the opportunity will be passed to a farmer on the waiting list immediately.

What farmers should do next?

Farmers declared successful under the programme should now complete two steps before 31 March 2026. First, they need to receive their allotment letters. Then, they must deposit their share of the payment within the revised timeline.

The Agriculture Department has advised farmers to stay in contact with the relevant offices to avoid missing the deadline.

Farmers who need more guidance have been told to contact the relevant offices of the Punjab Agriculture (Extension) Department. They can also call the agricultural helpline at 0800-17000 for support.
