The Balochistan electric bike scheme has been launched under the vision of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, with the provincial government presenting it as a step to support youth and women through easier access to electric bikes.

According to the announced details, each electric bike is priced at Rs 175,000. However, the provincial government is offering a 30% subsidy of Rs 52,500 to make the scheme more affordable.

Under the scheme, successful applicants will need to make a down payment of Rs 17,500 at the start. The government says this structure is designed to lower the initial cost for eligible buyers.

The subsidy reduces the financial burden on applicants, especially students and female professionals seeking a more budget-friendly transport option.

Monthly Instalment Plan For Applicants

The payment plan is spread over 2 years (24 months). According to the source text, selected applicants will pay Rs 4,773 per month.

This instalment structure is designed to make the bikes easier to afford over time. As a result, the scheme is positioned as a practical support measure for youth and women in the province.

How To Apply For The Electric Bike Scheme

Interested applicants can register online via the official portal at www.ebike.balochistan.gov.pk.

The application process begins by entering personal information and selecting a category: Youth or Women. After that, applicants must upload the required documents, review the details and submit the form.

The source text says a transparent balloting process will be used to select successful applicants. Names picked through the lucky draw will become eligible to receive the bikes.

That means registration alone does not guarantee selection. Instead, applicants must complete the process correctly and wait for the draw results.
