Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam made history on Saturday by becoming the first batter to cross 4,000 runs in PSL history. He reached the landmark during his team’s match against Lahore Qalandars at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

Babar scored 43 off 40 balls, hitting three fours and one six. With that innings, he moved past the 4,000-run mark and strengthened his place as the leading run-scorer in Pakistan Super League history.

Babar reached the milestone in his 105th PSL appearance. The source says he has maintained a career strike rate of 127.92 in the tournament, underlining both his consistency and longevity.

His league record also includes 37 half-centuries and 2 centuries. Those numbers highlight the sustained impact he has made across multiple PSL seasons.

Babar Extends His Lead Over Other PSL Batters

The source says Lahore Qalandars batter Fakhar Zaman remains second on the all-time PSL run-scoring list with 3,018 runs from 99 matches. Mohammad Rizwan follows with 2,853 runs, while Rilee Rossouw and Shoaib Malik complete the top five.

That gap shows how far ahead Babar now stands in the tournament’s batting charts. His latest achievement adds another major milestone to an already dominant PSL record.

PSL Leading Run-Scorers List

According to the source, the leading run-scorers in PSL history now stand as follows:

  • Babar Azam (Peshawar Zalmi): 4,004*
  • Fakhar Zaman (Lahore Qalandars): 3,018
  • Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans): 2,853
  • Rilee Rossouw (Quetta Gladiators): 2,366

Crossing 4,000 runs marks another landmark for Babar, who has delivered year after year in this tournament. It also sets a new standard for future batters in the PSL.

For Peshawar Zalmi and for Pakistan cricket fans, the milestone reinforces Babar’s reputation as one of the most reliable and accomplished batters in the league’s history.
