The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed PSL 11 final prize money on Saturday. The winning franchise will receive $500,000. Meanwhile, the runners-up will get $300,000.
The Pakistan Super League 11 final will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Hyderabad Kingsmen. This match will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Punjab, on Sunday.
The PCB said it has also allocated $200,000 for the franchise with the best player development efforts.
The tournament-winning prize for players will separately comprise $500,000, according to the cricket board.
“For the first time in the history of the PSL, a separate reward has been set for the franchises,” the PCB said in its statement.
The prize structure follows PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s announcement in November last year on a new reward system for franchises.
