The Asian Science Camp 2026 Pakistan application process is now open, following the Pakistan Science Foundation’s invitation to young science students to compete for a sponsored place at the international event in Hong Kong.

The Asian Science Camp 2026 will take place from August 2 to August 8 at the University of Hong Kong. The Pakistan Science Foundation will sponsor a team of five students selected through a competitive process.

The Asian Science Camp is an annual international programme that brings together students and leading scientists for talks, idea-sharing and scientific demonstrations.

The event also includes visits to industrial sites, research centres, laboratories, scientific institutions and universities. PSF says it sponsors Pakistani students as part of its wider effort to promote science education among young people.

Who Can Apply for Asian Science Camp 2026

Applications are open to boys and girls aged 17 to 22 as of July 31, provided they are enrolled as regular science students.

Eligible applicants include students in 11th or 12th grade, as well as those studying in the first or second semester of a public or private university. Candidates must also show strong academic standing in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

The selection process has two stages. First, shortlisted candidates will sit a written test in Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, Sukkur, Quetta and Peshawar.

Those who qualify will then appear for a final interview in Islamabad. Five students will be selected strictly on merit, and the expert panel’s decision will be final.

No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for either the written test or the interview.

Applicants can download the application proforma from the PSF website. Completed hard-copy applications must be sent to the Pakistan Science Foundation, 1 Constitution Avenue, G-5/2, Islamabad-44000, with the envelope clearly marked “ASC-2026 Competition.”

Incomplete applications will not be considered. It also says the original deadline of April 6 has been extended to April 25. Students seeking more information may contact PSF through the email address and phone number provided in the official notice.
