An anti-terrorism court allowed former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf exemption from appearing before it today and ordered him to ensure his presence on August 8 without fail.
The anti-terrorism court’s judge Atiqur Rehman heard the case earlier today.
During the proceedings, Javed Safdar, counsel for Pervez Musharraf submitted the latter’s medical report, stating the doctors had advised him to take rest for three weeks and avoid travelling.
He also filed Pervez Musharraf’s application for exemption from appearance for today.
