As the political temperature is rising in the country, former president Asif Ali Zardari has become active to defuse political turmoil.

For the matter Asif Zardari contacted Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Awami National Party (ANP) leader Asfandyar Wali.

Zardari and Shujaat agreed upon giving priority to national integrity and solidarity at any cost besides ensuring to protect the rights of masses.
