Several people sustained injuries in a group clash between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers inside tehsil Khanpur hospital in Rahim Yar Khan.
According to details, the clash erupted when the activists of both the two parties brought their associates, injured in their earlier clash in Moza Kotla to THQ hospital Khanpur.
The hospital administration called in police to control the situation.
Police have arrested several activists of both parties and started further investigation.
Sources said the reason of the clash was the defeat in December 05 local bodies elections sustained by one of the two political parties.
