Karachi: Police have released the sketch of assassin of Karachi University’s Assistant Professor Waheedur Rehman on late on Wednesday night.
According to sketch details, the assassins appears aged around 30 with tan complexion and height about five feet and two inches with thin mustaches on round face.
Police started investigation and penned down the elaborate statement of eyewitnesses and a security guard of a nearby premises.
According to the police report, the assailants were riding on two motorbikes and fired bullets on Rehman from front and then from two sides.
According to eyewitness, one of the assassins put his hand into the car and open gunfire at the academic pointblank.
According to the police initial report, Waheed sustained ten bullet wounds. Police retrieved from the scene at least eight blank bullet casings of 9MM that have been sent for forensic test.
The FIR against the assassination has been registered at Yousuf Plaza police station.
