Former Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Parvez Elahi announced joining the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Tuesday (PTI).
PTI’s senior leader Fawad Chaudhary announced this while talking to the media in the presence of Pervez Elahi. The announcement was made mere minutes after PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat fired him as the Punjab president and canceled his basic membership.
Fawad stated that the entire party welcomes Elahi and his associates as they embark on a “Naya Pakistan.” “Parvez Elahi has sacrificed for Imran Khan and stayed with him through thick and thin.”
After prolonged negotiations, Parvez Elahi and other leaders of PMLN-Q have chosen to join the PTI.
