The Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) has secured a major lead in the National Assembly, holding 123 seats, which marks an increase of 16 following the reallocation of reserved seats originally held by the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), supported by independent members affiliated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, to three different parties.

Initially securing 75 general and nine independent seats, their count increased with 19 seats for women and 4 for minorities, reaching 107. Following the ECP’s decision against SIC’s eligibility, PML-N received 15 additional seats for women and one for minorities.

The PPP’s tally rose to 73 from 68, initially winning 54 general seats plus seats reserved for minorities and women. However, this is less than the PTI-supported independents allied with SIC.

MQM-Pakistan holds 22 seats, JUI-F has 11, up from seven, PML-Q five, and Istehkam-i-Pakistan four, with single seats for PML-Zia and others. Nine independents remained unaffiliated.

Elections were deferred in one constituency, and the results of another were withheld. Punjab allocated its final women’s seats to PPP (2) and PML-N (1).

In the KP Assembly, PTI-supported independents lead with 91 seats, with JUI-F and others receiving reserved seats. The ECP uploaded election documents late amid criticism for delayed transparency.
