Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif took notice of yesterday’s suicide bombing in Rawalpindi and condemned the terrorist activity in the strongest terms.
He deplored the loss of lives of innocent people and directed strict action against those responsible for the attack.
PM Sharif also asked the district administration to ensure proper relief to the injured.
Summoning a report on the Rawalpindi attack from the concerned security officials, the Prime Minister expressed the government’s resolve in eradicating the menace of terrorism and extremism.
“We will not sit in peace until terrorism is uprooted from the country,” he remarked.
It should be mentioned here that Rawalpindi blast claimed lives of at least six people and left scores others wounded. According to hospital sources, at least four injured are in critical state.
