Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif earlier yesterday felicitated the Conservative Party of the United Kingdom and its leadership over winning clear majority in general elections.
Prime Minister Nawaz, in a message to Prime Minister David Cameron, said that Pakistan enjoyed strong bilateral ties with the United Kingdom (UK), which had strengthened with the passage of time, according to a PM House statement.
He expressed the confidence that in the next term of Conservative Party, the bilateral ties, especially in the field of trade and economy, would reach new heights.
Nawaz Sharif also congratulated members of the Pakistani community who have been victorious in these elections.
He hoped that they would work for the betterment of both UK and Pakistan as well as for promoting friendship between the two countries.
