Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi earlier today for a one-day visit to preside over the Sindh apex committee meeting and to tend to other official duties.
Prime Minister Nawaz and other officials will be discussing the implementation of the National Action Plan in the meeting.
The premier will also be attending Expo Pakistan 2015, a trade fair, being held at the Expo Centre in the city today.
Nawaz Sharif is also expected to visit the family of former Supreme Court judge Justice (retired) Rana Bhagwandas who passed away a few days earlier after suffering a cardiac arrest.
