ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will lay the foundation stone of the 60 kilometre Hazara Motorway on Saturday.
According to a spokesperson of Prime Minister House, Hazara Motorway will be completed within 18 months. The inauguration ceremony will be held at Havelian tehsil of Abbotabad district.
The prime minister will also address a public meeting on the occasion as well.
Rs. 31 billion cost 60-km highway project is based on four road lanes. The construction of the motorway will reduce the travel duration between Islamabad to Havelian to 30 minutes.
