Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif yesterday presided over a high level meeting to discuss the security affairs pertaining to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) public meeting in Islamabad on November 30.
The Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan briefed the meeting about the overall security situation of the country, specifically Islamabad. During the meeting, the matter of a huge public gathering by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in Islamabad also came under discussion.
The statesmen pondered upon possible outcomes of the PTI rally and security affairs pertaining to it.
The meeting also held consultation over electoral reforms in the country and the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).
