Pakistani News Channels Hacked With Pro‑Mossad Messages

Pakistani news channels report a cyber attack that replaced content with pro‑Mossad messages. The Pakistan pro-Mossad Google ad campaign controversy has surfaced alongside reports of satellite broadcast disruptions affecting local news channels.

Digital monitoring sources claim that controversial narratives appeared through automated advertisements served via Google’s advertising network on Pakistani media websites. Because many publishers rely on programmatic systems, they do not manually review every ad placement.

Although websites can block certain advertisers or categories, algorithm-driven placements may still bypass filters. Reseller accounts, intermediaries, or cloaked creatives can exploit oversight gaps. At this stage, no publicly available forensic evidence confirms state attribution.

Alongside concerns about digital advertising, several Pakistani television news channels have reported satellite transmission interference.

Geo News recently informed viewers that disruptions were affecting its PakSat broadcast. The channel described attempts to interfere with its transmission signals, raising questions about media security.

Broadcast engineers note that satellite interference is technically complex. It may involve uplink intrusion attempts, signal jamming, or transponder-level manipulation. However, authorities have not officially attributed responsibility for these incidents.

Cybersecurity analysts caution that programmatic advertising infrastructure can be misused by both state and non-state actors. Similarly, satellite broadcasting systems can be vulnerable if protective measures are compromised.

Media security observers say the combination of digital ad exploitation and satellite-level disruption may reflect broader hybrid information pressure tactics. Still, officials have not formally linked the two developments, and investigations remain ongoing.

At present, no official findings have established a direct connection between the reported ad campaign and the broadcast interference. Authorities continue to examine both matters separately.
