Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) failed to load passengers’ luggage onto a flight from Jeddah due to space constraints.

Upon arriving in Karachi, travellers on PIA flight PK 832 faced confusion and delays as their baggage was not on board, as reported by Express News.

The issue primarily affected Umrah pilgrims, who learned upon reaching Karachi airport that their belongings were still in Jeddah.

Adding to the frustration, the flight was delayed by two hours. Affected passengers have urged the Prime Minister and the Federal Minister of Interior to address PIA’s mismanagement.

A PIA representative stated that about 81 luggage items were left at Jeddah airport due to the plane’s limited capacity. The airline has committed to delivering the luggage to approximately 40 passengers on a subsequent flight soon.
