Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) added two additional Airbus-320 aircraft to its operations fleet.

Late Wednesday, a Pakistan International Airlines spokesperson (PIA) reported that the national carrier had added two additional aircraft to its operational fleet in the last twenty-four hours.

PIA’s spokesman Abdullah Hafeez Khan stated in a news release.”Despite severe economic conditions, the government is actively promoting PIA’s growth, as evidenced by the expansion of its operating fleet.”

He stated that a new Airbus-320 aircraft, which arrived in the last few days, had been added to the timetable after finishing all the necessary procedures. Yesterday, the new Airbus 320 made its maiden voyage as PK-309 from Islamabad to Karachi.

Similarly, he stated that a Boeing-777 aircraft that had been sidelined for seven months had been added to the fleet after undergoing necessary maintenance.

“The aircraft took off for Jeddah as PK-300 this morning on its first trip after several months of maintenance.
