Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi expressed his support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan before the dissolution of the assembly.
The chief minister made these statements during a meeting with former premier and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Zaman Park, Lahore.
The gathering comes hours before the PTI chief announces the dissolution of the Punjab and KP assemblies.
Moonis and Hussain Elahi, Mahmood Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Pervez Khattak, and other PTI leaders attended the meeting.
The gathering discussed dissolving assemblies. Imran Khan, the Punjab, and KP chief ministers will declare the dissolution date.
PML-Q leaders have pledged to back ‘every’ move made by the former PM. Pervaiz Elahi owes Imran the Punjab government.
