Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced free entry at Multan Cricket Stadium and a PCB Independence Day surprise for fans during the National Champions Cup 2026.
Naqvi said spectators could enter the stadium for free from 3 pm and encouraged families and friends to attend the ongoing tournament. He made the announcement in a post on X.
The day’s fixture featured Pakistan Greens against Pakistan Blues at Multan Cricket Stadium. Players involved included Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Sahibzada Farhan, Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf and Naseem Shah.
Naqvi said Multan fans would receive another surprise at 10 pm as part of Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations. The source also states that the surprise involved a live musical concert after the match.

The National Champions Cup 2026 features Pakistan Greens, Pakistan Whites, Pakistan Blues and Pakistan Gold in a single round-robin competition. The top two teams will qualify for the final.
The final is scheduled for August 18 at Multan Cricket Stadium. The competition forms part of Pakistan’s preparations for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 and provides selectors another opportunity to assess domestic talent.
