Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has fined 11 players of the national team including Captain T20 Shahid Khan Afridi for inappropriate fitness.
According to the new central contract of PCB, fitness tests will be carried out every three months.
According to sources, consequent upon the recent fitness test, 11 players were fined. The 11 players fined include Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal and Abdur Rehman. 25 percent will be deducted from the central contract fee of the player who displays poor fitness.
Players displaying best fitness included Misbahul Haq, Ahmad Shahzad, Bilalwal Bhatti, Umar Amin and Shan Masood.
