The Pakistan Cricket Board banned all-rounder and Captain State Bank of Pakistan Kashif Siddique Khan for two years after he tested positive for a controlled substance.
PCB spokesman while talking to local news said “Khan was found doped with a performance enhancing drug during the Faysal Bank T-20 Cup held in Lahore last November”
The PCB spokesman also said that, PCB had conducted random doping testing during the tournament. The spokesperson further added that
“An adverse analytic finding was reported by the National Dope Testing Laboratory in New Delhi, India against the sample collected from Khan”
Kashif was issued a showcase by the PCB in January last and provisionally suspended from participating in any form of cricket pending the proceedings of the Anti-Doping Tribunal.
