WASHINGTON: Singers Paul Anka and Barbara Mandrell, composer David Foster, actor Andy Garcia, and writer David Mamet have been named as this year’s recipients of the Kennedy Centre Honours.
Announced Monday, the 49th annual gala will take place at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., instead of the Kennedy Centre.
The arts institution closed following legal disputes involving United States President Donald Trump’s efforts to rename the building.
