Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) has issued a showcasued to party leader, Qadir Patel, for putting up anti statement for not giving him senate seat.
Patel while addressing a public meeting in Liyari said that his wish to become a senator but “The kingpins said you must be kidding. Senate is not a child’s play. It’s a big game. And you better stay out of it,”
Patel is also the party president for Karachi division.
PPP’s provincial information minister, Sharjeel Memon, says that now that a notice has been served on Patel, he must come up with a clarification for his exceptionable statements.
It is also said that, Patel has formally joined PPP’s rebel leader Zulfiqar Mirza, who accused PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari of politically sidelining his son, the party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, who the outspoken firebrand has declared as his true leader instead of his domineering father.
