Parliament session begins with PTI MNAs in attendance

The joint session of the parliament, which started on Tuesday to discuss the latest political situation, has begun on Wednesday and will continue till Friday.

All the political parties on Tuesday backed parliament and the Constitution, and urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif not to resign at any cost.

PML-N member of the parliament hooted at the MNAs of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as they arrived at the assembly hall to participate in the joint session of the Parliament.

Ayaz Sadiq, who is presiding the session, called to restore order asking PML-N members to stop hooting.

PTI is attending the session on directives of Imran Khan to explain its position with regard to its protest outside the parliament.

President Mamnoon Hussain had summoned the joint session of the parliament on the advice of PM Nawaz Sharif who is also present in the session today.
