The anticipation around the Parizaad sequel has peaked, and fans can now look forward to its confirmed release next year.

Parizaad, adapted from a novel of the same name, featured acclaimed actor Ahmed Ali Akbar as a college student navigating his ambitions. Premiering in July 2021, the drama concluded on television on February 1, 2022. Critics and audiences praised the show for breaking away from traditional themes common in Pakistani dramas, such as focusing on women’s hardships.

Duraid Qureshi, CEO of Hum Network, assures a captivating storyline for the upcoming season. “It’s going to be a beautiful story,” Qureshi announced, highlighting the show’s commitment to engaging and well-rounded content.

This announcement follows actor Ahmed Ali Akbar’s recent remarks about the show’s return. After starring in the film Gunjal, Akbar discussed his deep connection with his Parizaad character: “Parizaad was so deeply interwoven into who I am, I wanted to shed some of [it] before I could talk to people. It was a year-long shoot; you become part of the character, the character becomes part of you.” With Qureshi’s promise of a compelling narrative, the next season is poised to captivate fans once again.

In a recent interview,#AhmedAliAkbar acknowledged taking a break after the filming of "#Parizaad" because he felt a strong emotional attachment to the character.He also stated that if chapter 2 is produced,he would like to return to that stage of the process.📸:@iharoonrashid pic.twitter.com/YGVPvx3KvV
